WHAT WE DO…

The Remote Communities Committee helps ensure that alcoholics in hard‑to‑reach or underserved areas can access A.A. support. Whether the barriers are geographic, cultural, linguistic, or related to accessibility, this committee works to bridge the gap so every member has a path to recovery.

We reach out to isolated communities, provide materials in appropriate languages and formats, support the creation of local or online meetings, and help remote members stay connected through Zoom, phone, or correspondence. By collaborating with other service committees and sharing resources, we make sure no alcoholic is left without access to A.A.’s message of hope.
